What's ahead for PowerUp in 2023

In 2023 we'll conduct new purchases for copiers, electric, and gas, in addition to our existing programs for property insurance and waste hauling.

We are also exploring purchases for solar and composting. Please let us know if you're interested in joining conversations about solar or composting.

In addition to expanding our purchasing, PowerUp's Steering Committee are on pace to incorporate as a cooperative business (!). That will be a huge step, and will require member orgs to affirm their commitment to PowerUp's long-term growth and sustainability. We will host conversations to share more about what it means for our organizations to found PowerUp.

We're also looking to formalize our collaboration with CPA through a national co-op of co-ops. It's an opportunity to take cooperation among houses of worship and nonprofit across the country to a deeper, more transformative level. Much more on this to come soon.
