About us
It goes without saying, nonprofits don’t make profits. We use our donations to better the community. So when some entities prey on nonprofits – and look to make inordinate amounts of money from nonprofits – well, that just doesn't seem right, does it?
We have had enough. After hearing story after story of nonprofits and local organizations who either lacked the resources to navigate the services they need, or didn’t have the negotiating power to get better contracts with them, we decided to do something.
PowerUp Purchasing Co-op was created by like-minded leaders from Cleveland metro area organizations. Together we negotiate better deals on behalf of our members, so they can put more of their time, energy and resources back into their missions, instead of their bills.
